WizOfQuiz Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Who we are and what this covers
Inner Light Machines LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States, operates WizOfQuiz. Our privacy contact is the Privacy Lead at contact@wizofquiz.biz.
This policy covers the coming-soon website at wizofquiz.biz, its on-page demonstration, early-access requests, and messages you send us. Early-access signup is for people 18 or older who live in the United States. This website does not create a product account, take payments, or enroll you in a live multiplayer game. Future product accounts, hosted games, employee rosters, uploads, and paid services will need their own applicable notices before they launch.
Information we collect
- Early-access requests: your name, email address, interest in game nights or workplace use, and any company name or message you choose to supply. We record when you signed up and the wording and version of your consent. We may keep the related confirmation and delivery status.
- Messages to us: your email address, message, and information needed to answer it.
- Technical information: our hosting and security providers process information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time to deliver the website and help prevent abuse. Avoid putting personal information in a URL.
- Browser preferences and security: the storage described below.
- Website analytics: aggregate reports about visits, page views, referring websites, approximate country, device and browser type, and page-loading performance.
Demo participant names, company names, and answers stay in the current page's memory; the demo does not submit them to our server or create employee records. They are separate from the fields you choose to submit in the early-access form. Closing or reloading the page resets the demo. Use invented names and do not enter confidential or sensitive information.
How we use information
We use it to keep the site working, prevent abuse, answer your messages, and manage your requested early access. If you opt in, our email scope is limited to a signup confirmation, an early-access invitation, and a launch announcement. Signup does not subscribe you to a newsletter, ongoing product promotions, or marketing for other businesses.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or use signup details to train AI models. The website does not use advertising pixels or session replay. Playing the demonstration does not send your entries to an AI service. The illustrated hosts and media include synthetic and AI-assisted creative content; the demonstration is not an assessment of your abilities.
We use our hosting provider's cookieless web analytics to understand site traffic and improve page performance. A small script reports page visits and technical performance information. This analytics service does not use cookies, browser storage or fingerprinting to identify visitors, and does not track people across websites. We do not send form-field contents or demo answers as analytics events, or join analytics reports to the early-access signup list. Please do not put personal information in page URLs. Browser privacy tools may block analytics; the website and signup form remain usable when they do.
Who receives information
Our hosting provider serves the public website. When you submit the early-access form, your browser sends the form fields directly to Formspree, which processes the submission and provides our private submissions inbox and email notification. Submission opens Formspree's security-check and confirmation pages. See Formspree's privacy policy for its processing and the practices on those pages. Our business email is handled through Microsoft 365; contact forwarding also passes through our email-routing provider.
Access is limited to authorized people working for Inner Light Machines LLC and service providers needed for website hosting, security, web analytics, data storage, and email delivery. Those providers process the information required for their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. We do not give your details to others for their own marketing.
We operate in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate; local laws may permit access by public authorities. US-only signup eligibility is not a promise that every copy is stored exclusively in the US. Contact our Privacy Lead for questions about providers handling your information.
Retention
We keep an early-access request and its associated confirmation records for no more than 12 months from signup, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. This limit includes our copies of signup notification emails. The form provider's dashboard may keep submissions for a shorter period depending on our plan. Joining a future product requires a separate step; we do not silently turn the waitlist into a permanent customer account.
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter and meet applicable legal obligations. Technical security records follow the relevant provider's retention settings and applicable requirements. We do not promise that every provider log or recovery copy disappears immediately when an active record is removed. Where a legal obligation requires limited information to be retained, we restrict its use to that purpose. A minimal record of an email opt-out may be retained to ensure we respect it.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your signup details, or withdraw permission for further early-access emails, by writing to contact@wizofquiz.biz. Each promotional early-access message will also provide a way to opt out. We honor email opt-outs within 10 business days. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
We may confirm control of the email address on the record before disclosing or changing personal information. We request only what is reasonably needed to verify a request. We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits. You can reply to request a further review. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights or be able to complain to your state regulator. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable rights.
Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
woq:theme | Local storage | Remembers your light/dark preference | Until you clear site storage |
The web analytics script does not set analytics cookies or store an analytics identifier in your browser. Our static website does not set an early-access session cookie. Submitting the form takes you to Formspree, whose pages and spam checks may use cookies and process browser or network information, including through a CAPTCHA provider. Those pages have their own privacy notices. Our hosting service may also use essential security checks or cookies when needed to protect the website. We do not use browser storage on this website for targeted advertising. You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser; blocking essential security storage may prevent signup. We do not change our practices in response to Do Not Track. We do not sell or share information for targeted advertising, so there is no such activity to opt out of through a Global Privacy Control signal.
Children and younger visitors
Our early-access list is intended for adults 18 and older in the United States. Do not submit a child's details or another person's details without permission. If we learn that a signup contains information about someone under 18, we will remove that signup. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child's information. Descriptions of future family game nights do not invite children to join this email list. Future player eligibility is separate from waitlist eligibility.
Security and changes
We use safeguards appropriate to the information and purpose, including encrypted web connections and restricted access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. See our security page for reporting concerns.
We update this policy when the website or its data practices change and revise the date above. For a material new use of signup information, we provide an appropriate notice and obtain any additional consent required before that use. Contact our Privacy Lead with questions.
